A Qualified Microsoft Certified System Engineer on Windows 2003. Core industry in which I have operated is Web application and software development. Due to this decent experience, I have gathered considerable knowledge on Web Server technology (both Windows and Linux platform. Other sub and associated skills like DNS, SQL Server and other database related technology have also been honed. Additionally I have gained knowledge on Proxy and VPN technology like Microsoft ISA Server 2004 and Windows Remote and Routing due to circumstantial requirements.

Technological exposure.

Beside my experience as a Web and application server administrator, I have also worked in the telecommunication domain as a Telecom Engineer for a while. This experience made me versatile and flexible to adapt to various ITIL Service Management standards. Recent change in the world economic trend made organization to adopt more measures to maximize the use of given resource this has brought in the use of open source application and products. Thus I have also upgraded my skill to adopt with this new trend and grasp the different implementation of open source. A summary of my skills and technology is listed as below:

  • Siemens HiPath 3xxx/5xxx/Procentre Engineer during my stay in Siemens .
  • Mail server Expert on Microsoft Exchange 2003, Mercury32, Sendmail etc.
  • Red Hat Enterprise linux and Solaris unix as open source Operating Systems.
  • Good exposure to Cisco equipments in various scenarios.
  • Have implemented open source CMS and other web application(e.g Joomla,Drupal,PHPFusion) in numerous occasion.
  • Recent exposure in Microsoft WSS 3.0 and as well as MOSS 2007.
  • Virtual Server and Server Virtualization with VM Ware ESX 3.5.
